The Backpacks for Kids Foundation is a non-profit organization that provides children in need with quality backpacks and school supplies. The Foundation was founded in 2001 by four high school students who wanted to make a difference in their community. Since then, the Foundation has donated over 12,000 backpacks to children in the Greater Boston area and beyond.
The Foundation believes that education is the key to success and that every child deserves a chance to learn. By giving children the tools they need for school, the Foundation hopes to increase their confidence, motivation, and academic performance. The Foundation also aims to promote literacy by including books and reading materials in the backpacks.

The Foundation works with local service agencies and schools to identify and distribute the backpacks to children who need them the most. The Foundation relies on donations and volunteers to support its mission. You can help the Foundation by donating money, backpacks, school supplies, books, or your time.
